Cynthia Lynn Maiolo

Cynthia Lynn Maiolo, age 52, of Piney View, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Beckley Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born on May 30, 1966 in Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Charles Clawson and Loretta Reed Clawson.

Mrs. Maiolo was a homemaker and was a former LPN at Plateau Medical Center, Beckley Hospital and Hilltop Nursing Home.  She had attended Cranberry Baptist Church and enjoyed needle pointing and riding motorcycles with her husband.

Mrs. Maiolo was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Dale Clawson.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of nearly 33 years; Arnold Lee Maiolo II; a daughter, Samantha Maiolo of Columbia, SC; a sister, Christine Davis-Blake and husband Frank of Oak Hill, and a brother William Clawson also are among her survivors.

An informal gathering for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Beckley Masonic Lodge, 200 Howe Street, Beckley, WV
